Roof Experts

Gator Roofing provides residential roofing services across North & East Texas communities. We handle roof inspections, repairs, and full replacements with a focus on clean workmanship and clear communication.

Our crews install shingles, metal roofing, and premium upgrade systems depending on your home’s needs. If you’ve had storm damage from wind or hail, we’ll document issues and explain next steps in plain language. From first call to final cleanup, we make roofing straightforward and stress-free.

Roofing Materials & Options

  • We offer a range of products from CertainTeed. All asphalt shingles we install are rated as impacted resistant. Including architectural to designer styles.

    • 3-tab: thinner, lower wind rating, shorter lifespan, budget option

    • Architectural: thicker, better dimensional look, typically higher wind rating, longer lifespan
Most homeowners choose architectural for durability and curb appeal.

    • Impact-resistant architectural shingles are a great balance of cost + performance

    • Standing seam metal performs extremely well when properly installed (especially wind)
We’ll recommend what matches your home, budget, and storm exposure.

    • We Install Crown Roof Tiles, and those systems not only will stand the test of time, but will also have an elegant and timeless look.

    • EuroShield materials or “rubber roofing” products are extremely resilient to the harsh Texas climate. “Only impacted-rated for a Class 4, because they don’t have Class 5 yet.”

  • Yes. You can switch materials (for example, shingles to metal), but we’ll evaluate:

    • Deck condition

    • Ventilation needs

    • Weight/attachment requirements

    • Budget and expected ROI
We’ll make sure the new system is built correctly for your home.

  • Often, yes—lighter colors can reduce heat absorption and may help attic temps a bit, especially with good ventilation. But ventilation and insulation usually make the biggest difference. We’ll help you pick a color that looks great and performs well.
